Taos, New Mexico Lodging
Workshops in Taos are enchanting. Taos is filled with that creative light
that inspires us to enter our soul. We spend full days creating art, visiting
galleries, museums, and eating delicious Mexican cuisine …then going back
to our casitas only to continue to talk and dream art. Nothing could be
better than to immerse yourself in creating the life of your dreams!
These are two fabulous groups of casitas within walking distance of the
Stables Gallery where the workshop is being held….. first come, first served.

| In the 1940's, the Garcia family began to build the present Taos
Lodging casitas of fifteen inch hand-crafted adobe bricks.
The nichos, arched doorways, oak floors and kiva fireplace were
trademarks of the architecture. Each casita was added with care
as the family grew. The present owners have renovated each casita
keeping in mind it's history and the importance of preserving "A
little bit of Taos the way it used to be". Each casita has
it's own distinctive Southwestern personality and is decorated
with loving attention to detail. The adobe and latilla fenced
property is guarded by ancient elm trees whose song is provided
by the wind. |
