The Color, Design and Value workshop this fall in Taos was a huge success. The students were eager, willing and able to handle the stress of “getting out of their artistic box”. As you can see by the images posted the paintings were fabulous. It is interesting when a group of determined women get together they feed on each others energy. This is what happened in this workshop. They bonded with each other because of many reasons but one of them was one of the students learned her granddaughter was rushed to the hospital with a serious illness. The student found herself surrounded with lots of love and support. We all did a happy dance when we found out the child was recovering and going to be fine.
Emma, one of my German Shepherds, joined us in the workshop as she loves to share her support to those who are in need. It is always good to have something to hug when a break is needed from creating.
Not all my photographs of the students paintings turned out so I apologize to those whose wonderful paintings are missing.
