What do you think of when you hear the word persistence? Do you think of the Olympics? Those who have a dream and won’t let anything stand in their way.
Persistence to me means not giving up, words and projections of others can’t stop you from reaching your dream.
So what is your artistic dream?
Is it to be recognized and respected as a really good artist?
Is it to develop more confidence in yourself as an artist?
There are a lot of ways to achieve your dream and being persistent is one of them.
There is a certain feeling that comes when you are persistence. It is the feeling of conquering fear, cultivating a level of raw courage and developing confidence in your work.
Most of all it means seeing yourself as an artist…a real honest successful artist.
Persistence means you show up in your studio whether you feel like creating or not, it means staying the course and accepting failure as success.
