There are many reasons you paint, create, dance or work…. that magical creative depth comes from your “why”.
I am a painter, coach/mentor…I love my life. I help artists not only find their artistic voice but find the confidence in themselves as individuals and as artists so they can jump into the creative storm and go for their dream.
I feel I am the luckiest person in the world…I am living my passion. The truth is…my passion is your passion. Why? Because you create to provide joy for yourself and others. You open a secret visual world for others to explore…. Your creations are gifts to the world.
However, sharing your creative work can be stressful. When you put your work out for others to see you are also opening the door for criticism and as I like to say, to be judged by those who love to share their ignorance.
It is like stepping out on stage without your clothes on…you are exposing your heart and soul.
What keeps you going is your “Why”. That deep rooted feeling that gives you courage to create despite your fear.
So I ask…what is your why? Really think about this as it will open doors for you. You may be asked this at a show. What will you say?
