In this week’s video, I start by explaining that I’ll be stepping back from weekly uploads and switching to a new video every other Thursday. I really want to focus on painting this year, and this schedule change will give me the opportunity to deliver higher-quality videos to all of you! Another major focus for me this year is “going deep” into my paintings. What I mean by that is asking questions like, “How do I dive deeper into my paintings?” or “How do I tap into what’s within myself and bring that out onto the canvas?” These are the kinds of questions I’ll be exploring throughout the year. In this week’s video, I’m showcasing what I think is a silly painting that might turn into a floral (though I’m not sure yet!). It was important for me to share what I believe the next best steps are to really bring this painting to life. I hope you enjoy!
