Now that the art shows have been cancelled, travel is iffy and in-person workshops are “maybe next year”…what’s an Artist to do?
I have heard from a LOT of artists since Covid-19 came along and every single artist has mentioned their muse has gone on vacation. Must be a Muse convention going on somewhere at a 5 star resort. Good for your muse but what are you supposed to do without her?
Each night you listen to the news only to hear how bad things are so you go to the kitchen and pour yourself a glass of chilled Chardonnay.
You know you should go to your studio and paint but why?
I am here to tell you something that will make you look at this Covid-19 mess as a way for you to grow artistically.
What if you spent this time going deep into your art? What would happen? Perhaps you would find your artistic voice and style, develop a series, learn color in a whole new way and try that new idea that has been keeping you up at night because it is so cool.
In other words….you are going to zig when others are zagging.
This takes courage but you have it in you, it takes determination but you have it. It takes signing up for that course you wanted to do last year but chickened out.
It’s time for you to take your foot off the brake.!!!
Ask yourself what you want to study? Who with? Why? Then research the crap out of it and sign up for the one you think would be best for you.
What have you got to lose? NOTHING!
Let me know what you decide……and while you are doing all that research don’t forget to check out the workshops I am offering this August and September plus my Master Class starting September 10th
The Master Class is one fabulous program so email me if you have any questions.
