I’m so glad you’re here. In today’s video, I’m opening up about something I think many artists experience… but rarely talk about.
Have you ever been in the middle of a painting and suddenly felt stuck? Maybe you’re wondering: Where do I go from here? Should I change the design? Add another color? Start over?
You’re not alone—because I’ve been right there, too.
In this video, I’m sharing the real, in-between space I’ve been navigating lately… the place between the “good” (what’s comfortable and familiar) and the “new” (the direction I feel my art wanting to go). It’s exciting and vulnerable all at once, and sometimes I catch myself wanting to run back to old habits simply because they feel safe.
But growth happens in the unknown.
So today, I’m showing you a demo on a 48×48 oil painting—part of my journey into a new style that hasn’t fully settled yet. It’s not finished, because I don’t know where it’s going yet… and that’s exactly the point.
