In this video, I’m sharing one of my absolute favorite brushes for abstract painting and mark making, and honestly, this little brush surprised me. Originally made for car striping, it creates the most beautiful expressive lines, bold marks, and loose details that I just can’t get with regular brushes.
I’ll show you how I use these brushes with India ink over old oil paintings, watercolor paper, canvas, and more. We’ll experiment together, spray water, lift ink, make drips, and discover some really interesting effects along the way.
This is all about playing, exploring, and finding new ways to add depth, mystery, and energy to your paintings.
If you love abstract art, expressive mark making, mixed media, or experimenting with your supplies, I think you’re really going to enjoy this one.
Leave me a comment and let me know: Have you ever tried striping brushes before?
